This is not your typical Diversity Chic installment, but it’s definitely for a good reason. I absolutely love the -ber months, even though the weather is spotty (and we’ve been taking our chances on this haha). It just means cooler weather is coming, the holidays are approaching, and styles are transitioning! I feel like we’ve entered a whole new bracket of DC for the year, and there’s no better way to start off than with our first ever collab. In case you’re unfamiliar with Diversity Chic, here’s a little tidbit.
“Diversity Chic is a collaboration of Dallas bloggers showcasing current fashion trends on a variety of skin tones, hair colors, body types and heights. Each month we will feature a new trend tailored to our personalities and style.
Our focus is to explore the world of fashion in its unique, diverse, and stylish manner – one trend at a time.”
Like I’ve mentioned earlier, this is not your typical Diversity Chic post. We’ve teamed up with Jamberry to show you not only their cute and innovative products, but their commitment to charity! I’ve always been impressed with companies that give back, and I’m happy to share that Jamberry is one of those companies. They have a great variety of charity-themed wraps, and it was honestly so hard to choose which one to use! I ended up having to do a mix and match of In This Together, Ribbons & Hearts, and Go Pink. For each wrap purchased, Jamberry will donate a portion of the proceeds to your local cancer charity to support women battling breast cancer. I actually have some relatives who have just gone in remission, so I’m very well aware that it runs in the family and that I have to be proactive myself. It’s not easy for any cancer patient to have to go through what they do, but it definitely helps knowing that they get to have all the support they can get from family and friends, which is why I consider myself lucky to have amazing friends such as these girls who I know will just be there to empower me no matter what challenges come my way! They are absolutely some of the most supportive people I know, and if you read their stories (linked below) you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about!
Don’t forget to check out Sevi, Valery, and Stephanie’s posts to get more of their details!
Jamberry encourages you to #TellYourStory and your or someone’s fight against cancer! And enter the giveaway below for a set of Jamberry nail wraps, an application kit, AND a mini-heater!
