Two Sundays ago, I attended my very first Dallas Blogger Collective event! I personally found that shocking (I realized it the day of the event) since I feel like I’ve been a member since Stephanie and Jasmine founded it. I think this was the first DBC event on a weekend, and it was a Tea Party at The Vintage House in Carrollton, so OF COURSE I had to attend! I always see the pretty pink house when I’m on Belt Line, but I’ve never been inside til the day of the event and I wish I hadn’t waited so long. If you’re ever in the DFW area, especially Carrollton, you HAVE to check this place out. Plan on staying there a few hours because they have everything from jewelry, purses, travel needs, baby items, candles, artwork… and you’re going to want them all. I feel like every single person who sets foot in The Vintage House falls in love with it. How could you not? The people who run it are so warm and welcoming. I wish I could live there!
As for the Tea Party, it was an absolute blast. I had a lot of fun catching up with blogger friends that I haven’t seen in what feels like forever! It was also wonderful meeting new DBC members and finally meeting a few in person (after stalking them on social media. I know, what a creeper.) Loved the gorgeous and delicious cake from C Star Cakes, the pretty artwork by Alli K Design, and the Vera Bradley swag and prizes provided to the attendees! Thank you so much to everyone at The VIntage House, Dallas Blogger Collective, Vera Bradley, and everyone else involved in this event– it was such a blast and definitely a success!
