Just like last time, I was absolutely thrilled when the Diveristy Chic ladies asked me to fill in for this month’s installment! I know there are usually 4 people (and I’m not even one of the original 4), but Stephanie had to take a little breather and asked to stay behind the camera. I definitely feel you girl, and she did an amazing job as always!
For those of you who don’t know what Diversity Chic is, here’s a little tidbit:
“Diversity Chic is a collaboration of Dallas bloggers showcasing current fashion trends on a variety of skin tones, hair colors, body types and heights. Each month we will feature a new trend tailored to our personalities and style.
Our focus is to explore the world of fashion in its unique, diverse, and stylish manner – one trend at a time.”
This month’s theme is pretty obvious– The Holidays! If some of you follow me on snapchat, then you know that I am 0% ready for Christmas. I just…. nothing. No tree, no menu (we’re hosting), I have bought a grand total of ZERO presents. Yeah, I’m totally killing this. To add to that, if you read my previous post, then you know I’m not even really good at dressing up for the season. I own zero sparkly clothes and red looks terrible on me. This outfit is as holiday as it gets. I’ve been wanting a sherpa jacket for a while and let me tell ya, this thing is WAAAARM. I start sweating within minutes! Normally that’s a good thing but it hasn’t even been cold enough in Dallas for that. Only in Texas can I rock a skort in December!
