Summer is quickly approaching, unless you live in Texas, then it feels like it’s already here with these 90+ degree temps. The humidity here in Dallas is not so kind with the sun’s rays feeling a bit extreme, so I constantly feel dry, wrinkly, and sunburnt. I always have to update my skincare routine by season out of necessity! So now that it’s time for the switch from winter to summer, let me tell you how I keep my skin soft throughout this Texas heat.
One of my biggest summer skincare hacks is Jergens® Wet Skin™ Moisturizer with Refreshing Coconut Oil. What’s so different about it is that it’s applied right after you shower– before patting yourself dry. It’s when your pores are the most open, so you don’t even GIVE your skin that chance to feel dry at all!
I tend to feel hesitant wearing shorts or skirts when my skin is not feeling so great (especially getting dry knees throughout the course of the day). But Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer lets me wear all of my summer outfits worry-free! I don’t have to constantly check my knees, ankles, elbows, and my other spots that tend to be the dryest.
I picked up my Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer at Walmart, and they come in several varieties and scents! I chose the coconut oil variety because I love coconut oil and being an island girl, I have no problems smelling like one 😉
