Now I understand that “Tea Party” and “Boho Chic” are two absolutely different things, but stay with me here. Two Sundays ago, I attended the Dallas Blogger Collective Tea Party (more of that fun over here!) at The Vintage House. It took me a while to decide on what to wear because my style changes depending on my mood. I might be wearing something studded & goth-like one day, and something preppy & girly the next. Some may think that’s confusing and inconsistent, but I personally see nothing wrong with that. It’s my way of expressing myself. I’ve never been to a tea party before, but I do know that I was not in the mood to wear tea party clothes. I wanted something comfortable and felt like wearing something boho-inspired. At the same time I wanted to look tea party-appropriate, so this is the result of that. I guess if a cucumber eating, tea party goer had a love child with a festival hippie, it would look somewhat like this hahaha! I absolutely love this outfit, though. It was perfect for the occasion and it was a great representation of myself. Oh, and did I mention how much of a steal this outfit was? Cotton On was having a sale so I got this dress for $10. And the coin necklace? $5. Charlotte Russe is my fave spot when I stock up on jewelry. Nothing beats 2 for $10 accessories.
